A few more random ones.

A couple from Shorty...

Some more from Our Darrell, including a shot of what winter biking is like across the puddle...

And good old Slim was out and about with his camera today, somewhere in the region of MacDuff by the looks of it.

I like that one too, its got a sort of atmospheric feel to it - almost Victorian.

The tractor we had was an early MF, red with bits and pieces. We sold it to a neighbour for a pittence and he spent several hundred pounds fixing it, painted it grey and uses it all the time.

I'd like a Fergie with attachments, because we only have a few acres and space is a bit tight, and we don't have any real need for a big tractor. Something to drive fence posts in would be bliss!

Mrs BC sounds like it might have been a wee 35,we've just finished overhauling one at work for a customer. We seem to get two or three in a year for engine work etc, people are quite happy to spend the money on them as there isn't really much to beat them for light duty jobs.I'll keep my ears open if anything at the right price comes up.

That's very kind Kawa. I could find out exactly what it is when the snow clears a bit, as it only lives up on the hill about half a mile away That particular hill is nearly as much of a challenge as ours at the moment. It was a good little tractor, went all day until hubby got hold of it. I think it would have gone on for another 50 years if looked after. Trouble with real little grey Fergies is they are a bit of a designer thing and the prices are pretty unrealistic, even up here.

Sorry about the delay with the Blog, Bob. It was planned in a moment of madness around the Christmas hols when I kidded myself I'd have time. I do want to get up and running though, so I can have a good old moan about beaurocracy, and of course, tell everyone who's interested what's going on on the croft. I guess I'll have to learn to put pics on the blog!!!!! Mmmm.
