Festive Wishes

Diggy wouldn't want us to sit around being miserable, so I thought I'd better get the Xmas decs up and start acting like the day after tomorrow is Christmas. Thanks to you all for your support, patience and good humour throughout 2010, this blog would be nothing without the input from you. There have been time when there's been very little input from me, and I apologise for that - you know, things to do, nails to paint and so on! My new years resolution is to catch up with myself and keep this place a bit more up to date in 2011. Hope you'll stick around to see if I can keep my promise or not.

What are your plans for next year?

plans for 2011? well get even more bike miles in, this year has shown we are all only on this earth till we are wanted elsewhere, so 2011 work can wait there's fun to be had out there, specially when you have good biking buddies to share it with.
so you have a restful Christmas and get yourself rested ready to entertain us all in 2011.

All the best to you GBC and everyone else too.

This year's plans?...
1. Get the new head on the Bantam Cub.
2. Finish truing up a rear wheel that's been on the bench for... ahem... a few months.
3. Do more runs on the Cub! Maybe even another long, cross-country run, perhaps?

Forgot, plans for next year, make a fortune on the stock market with GKP, 6 days on track with John at Val De Vienne to kick the year off. Ride more on the road, take the kids to Spain on holiday, spend less time working and more time having a life.

Yep home this year, it wasn't planned, My dad (79) tried to open a door with his foot while carrying 2 cups of coffee, hitered backwards and broke 3 ribs when he hit the door frame and door knob (the breaker of the ribs) on the opposite side of the hall, smacked his head and knocked himself out. He ended up in a heap on the floor out cold, winded and in a puddle of steaming coffee.

It was all my fault of course because if I hadn't been there he would only have been carrying one cup and had a free hand to open the door. My Bad.

I've taken an extra month off to make sure he is properly back on his feet before I go back to work.

When are you expecting the first lambs?

Kawa, good call on the not being grumpy thing... I should really add that to my list too.

Then again, better not to set unachievable targets, so I'll leave it off for now.

Anon post, 27th Dec.
Sorry Anon, I decided that it's best not to publish the link you left as I'd like to stay neutral on this one. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment though, and please come on back and join in the fun on the other posts.
