Ingliston here we come!
Well I've spent the last week slaving over a hot computer and a steaming printer, running off copies of membership forms, posters, information sheets, adverts for events and such like for the forthcoming Ingliston Motorcycle Show. That's at Ingliston in case you were wondering. Oh, that's just on the outskirts of Edinburgh. I'm now suffering from repetitive mouse-clicking syndrome all up my right arm, which makes a change from repetitive bale of hay-lifting syndrome. So I think all I have to do in the morning is fit the hinges on the make-shift display boards I put together, gather the various bits of paperwork, netbook, extension lead, overnight bag and anything else I've forgotten, and then we're awa'. I shall load Terry the Terrier in the van and head over to Andrew's place where I'll jump ship and load all the gear into his trailer, then we'll head into Aberdeen to collect - wait for it - some humongous and gloriously beautiful banners, made especially for the Grampian Classic MCC by Printagraph in Aberdeen. I've seen the proofs, can't wait to see the real deal. Bring it on! See you at Ingliston.

See, we knew that you hadn't been wasting your time when you were snowed in! If you're taking Terry, then you must have completely restored him over the winter! Can't wait to see the pictures.

Don't get too excited UN, Terry is still in a rather basic 'project' state!
Do you mean a 'work in progress', or just a pile of bits!

Same thing in Cubbie Towers!
Really UN give her a chance! What's that old saying - the impossible we do at once, miracles take a little longer. Anyway won't you be there to see first hand our magnificent display?
A full report will be available I hope.
Also the same on Terry now you've piqued everyones curiosity.
Unfortunately not, Mrs BC. I'm having to work this weekend - after all, I've got to fund my playboy lifestyle somehow.
I thinks it's a good idea to show Terry in his 'project' state, to let visitors see how much work goes into restoring a classic bike.
Good luck, and I'm looking forward to the photos.

Me too, UN. Not funding my playgirl lifstyle, but lambing watch. Had a lift arranged and everything, then one of the little dears decided to have premature lambs, and now my life is on hold for the next couple of months. Just hope I can sneak away for the Large Lunch. After all, it's only just down the road.
Give GBC a break, my Victor project has been going on since....let's see..."Star Wars" came out in '77...good grief, over 30 years...in dog years that'd be.... Hairy Larry
Well said, Larry.
