Blackberry....apple....grape....?

Just doing a little research here....do any of you have a Blackberry or perhaps an iPhone? If so, what do you think about them, do you use many of the apps on them, what's the best or worst thing about them?

About a year ago my cel-phone died and I ended up up-grading to a "poor-man's" I-phone. A samsung SGH-A887...which by now is probably horribly outdated and so "last-year"...but, you know it does hook-up to the internet quicker than the computers here at work, and has been a handy little device. It doesn't always get comments to blog's to post...does have a nice camera and video with sound capability...GPS...neato stuff like that. Peeps I know with I-Phone's love them. My sister and her oldest son couldn't function without them. I mean, what if your trying to find that nearest "Starbucks" caffeine center. Our President love's his Blackberry. We'll probably issue such devices at birth in the future. And they are great for checkin' weather conditions...Hairy Larry

Had an iPhone for a while. Dead easy to use and does everything you need: e-mail, web, apps, etc. I've never had a Blackberry, but don't like the look of them. The buttons seem awfully fiddly compared to the iPhone.

My work mobile is a Blackberry. I don't really bother with many of the features but I did use the internet access when we got a little lost in France. I'd agree with Bantam Cub - the tiny buttons are a real pain.

Don't have one myself, but an old boy at work has an iphone thingy and it seems to be pretty good.

Can get U-tube on it I think and has an app, Google Earth I'm guessing, that can show yer actually house from above or the front. Nifty little toy from the looks of it.

They seem to become a third arm and are addictive, lol, Also Ronnie gets his paid for by work. I think they are bit pricey as they suck you in on what seems like a good price plan and then it usually ends up being more expensive.
Anyone I know that has these smart phones just cant seem to be put them down (or maybe that is a good thing to constantly be available,)personally I think its good to get away from technology as it seems to take up a lot of time and other things end up not getting done lol. They do have their uses though I guess . Not tried any of them but did some research re the GPS/satnav. Don't know if it'll be relevant to you but they vary in that some need to connect to the internet (costs money) to do GPS and others don't.
