No, not shed building, much as I need another few sheds. No, this time I've been website building. My skills aren't up to much on a professional level but using the templates supplied I can knock a decent site or three into existence, well, I think they look decent, what do you think?
New site for information on rare breeds and keeping them in Scotland - www.rarebreedsscotland.co.uk
New site for smallholders in the NE of Scotland www.nescotlandsmallholders.co.uk and a forum to go alongside it www.nescotlandsmallholders.freeforums.org/index.php
And finally, if you want to order your free range and naturally reared lamb and mutton, have a look here - www.lambandmutton.co.uk

Excellent - clear, simple navigation, fresh look and you've got Dorset lamb, mmmmmmmmmutton, love it!
ng :)
Look good GBC. are those geese arguing about whose turn it is to occupy the stump? Hairy Larry
Looking good. Nice wee grey Fergie there too.
Ha-ha, so that's where you are. I was beginning to think the Freerange biker chick had flown the nest!
The new sites look great and I hope they go well for you. I have always had an interest in rare breeds but due to lack of space in my modest garden I had to restrict my ambitions to fancy pigeons, bantams (not B.S.A.) and a few ducks.
Thanks guys, nice to have some outside feedback. What sort of bantams and ducks do you have Stu? Could do with some pics for the gallery...
Hehe, Larry, yep, a right old ding-dong going on there!
Hey BC, yer like the Fergie? Saw it up at the Shetland show last year. Need one for Cubbie Towers one day!
Yeah, could do with something too, but really need one that can take a back actor... Fergies are too light which is a shame 'cos they're such good wee machines.
Looks like ya got a good start there GBC. Will be looking in on them from time to time to see howitza going
do you never stop working? There must be 30 hour days north of forfar to be able to fit all of this in.
Templates for websites.... do they make it quite easy then? Where do you get them? Interesting! Might have a go at mine. K
Just got a pair of Indian Runner ducks at the moment but in the past I kept Marran bantams, Light Sussex, Polish bantams, Belgian bearded bantams (Barbu d'uccle), they were beautiful with their "millefleur" plumage. I also had a trio of Gold-laced Wyandottes and at one time some Silver Appleyard ducks.
The new sites are looking good GBC :o) Clear and easy to navigate with good photos.
How are you making them, writing in html or some higher level package?
Graham B
Cool. But, uh.....whats a "smallholder?"
LOL Scott, yep, feels like 30hr days sometimes! None of what I do is a chore though, apart from going to work, but that's another story!
Templates, templates, GB & K - Kathy? Who be thee! Yep, just using the web-builder that is provided by one.com, keeps it simple.
STUART, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU O THE FORUM!!! Need you to register, post some pics and share info!!!
Darrell, a smallholder is someone who keeps livestock / poultry on a small patch of land, in a non-commercial sort of way.
I get the idea GBC, but I am not in N.E.Scotland and a pair of tired old non-laying pensionable ducks hardly makes me a smallholder, so I'm not sure that I am qualified to join the forum. :-)
