Insurance

What can I say, other than GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Even with internet quotes you still end up having to phone numerous insurance companies to get the full spec and the discounts. Feels like I've been on the phone for the last two weeks - maybe I have and thats why I haven't updated the blog!

Is this for the Cubbie or for others in the stable? Catch 22....gotta have insurance or ya get nicked, but ya can't get it if ya gotta pay through the nose.

Hate to see what mines gonna be when I eventually get my two nails on the road.

Its actually for the new addition to the 4wheel side of the family. A 4x4 that is a year older than the current one, and a lower spec model but everything else is the same and they're quoting over a hundred pounds MORE. So you go on the comparison sites and it takes so long that they time you out while you're still making your mind up!

Cub insurance isn't too dear, although I think all policies have gone up this last year or so. Economic climate, cost of uninsured drivers etc etc, always some excuse to put the prices up.

Gosh, that feels better.

One of the few benefits of getting closer to 'geezer' status for myself, is cheaper bike and car insurance. With 'good driver'status and multi-bike and cars as well...I can't complain......now don't get me started on the local Department of Motor Vehicles though....
